Performance review goals
Match your expectations with the employee so you are both aware of the aim and values of the performance review before you begin.
- Lay out the Dialoogle picture cards in front of you.
- Choose one picture card each, representing the most important thing you hope to gain from the performance review.
- Explain why you have chosen this particular card.
- Afterwards, both of you choose another picture card, symbolising what you would like to contribute to the conversation.
- Explain why you have chosen this particular picture card.
- Place the chosen cards on the table and let them remind you of the objective and values of the performance review.
It may be a good idea to let the employee be the first to present his/her choices.
