I can recommend that other parents use the Dialoogle cards when communicating with their children in order to get a better sense of what goes on in those young minds.
In my experience, it’s easier for them to feel comfortable in groups of two or three for starters.
It is amusing to see how perceptive young people are at that age, and how differently the picture cards can be interpreted. The motives are not superficial or straightforward.
