Become your own version of a real man – or woman

A group exercise that requires 10 times as many Magnum cards as the number of participants. It works particularly well in the open air.

  1. Lay out all the Magnum cards on the ground – and ask the participants to choose one card each that says something about the ‘real man’ or ‘real woman’ they want to be.
  2. The participants join up in pairs and tell each other about their cards. They will have one minute each to tell their story.
  3. Then they must find a new partner to exchange stories with. They keep their own card.
  4. When all participants have met three or four partners you stop the exercise and ask them to choose another card that represents the last thing they will have done just before they reach their goal. The participants pair up again and tell each other about their cards. Stop the exercise when all participants have told their story three or four times.
  5. In the final phase of the exercise, each participant must find a card that says something about the very first step they intend to take on the way towards their goal. Once again they pair up and tell each other about their cards.
  6. Stop the exercise when the energy dies down. Ask all participants to take a photo of their three cards with their smartphone – and to write down their goal and plan. Now participants will need to define the actual steps they must take. Set this as homework for the group and talk about it the next time you meet.
  7. Bring out the cards again when the group meets – and use them to talk to each other about how the individual plans are progressing.

You can make it easier for the participants to define the woman/man they want to be if you start out by discussing images of different male or female types. You may include tantric images in order to open up for the aspect of sexuality, which is important.

Hjernen

Brain

90% of the brain’s sensory input comes from visual sources. Images start thought tracks in the brain. If they cross each other in new combinations, new ideas emerge.

Kreativitet

Creativity

Creativity unfolds when we use imagery and try to combine different and seemingly independent motifs with each other.
